You may or may not have heard of hub pages before, so I’ll give you a short description of what they do. Hub pages is pretty much an article directory, but of better quality. Anyone can sign up and start writing. But you won’t get paid per word you write, you get paid from the advertisements on the articles you create for hub pages.
See, hub pages is a platform where you can create your own web pages on the internet. So instead of writing for a article service, you are writing for the web. Once you publish your first article, it will appear on the web and you may even find it in the search engines after a few days.
In my opinion, hub pages is the best place to write online – why? – because you do the work once, and you get paid over and over for that writing. For example, let’s say you know a little about gardening, and you want to share your knowledge with the world. You can go to hub pages, create a page called “How To Keep Your Garden Looking Great Year Round”. People who are searching for gardening tips like this may find your article in the search engines or just searching hub pages. If someone clicks on a ad in that article, you will get paid – you will be paid a portion of the advertising cost to that advertiser.
It’s as simple as that to make money with hub pages. It’s also good to know a little about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), but it’s not a requirement. If you know how to choose the right topics to write about, then you can essentially make more money in the long run since you would be able to get more traffic to the pages (ie. articles) you write on hub pages. I know people who make more than $1,000 per month strictly with hub pages…no joke. Then, as you gain more and more articles and more traffic, that traffic will convert to money with the ad they display on the site. You can add any type of money making method you want with Squidoo. You can put amazon ads and product links, and other forms of pay-per-click ads like Adsense and make money from clicks. It’s the best way to earn long term income because you write once, and get paid for that article over and over again.
Text Broker
Text broker allows anyone of any writing level to sign up and write articles for people who are looking to buy articles. Once you sign up, you will have to submit a sample article for them to review. After a day or two, they will give you a star rating based on that sample. If you are a professional writer, you will most likely end up with a 4 or 5 star rating – meaning you will be able to write articles for more money per word than a 2 or 3 star writer.
Even if you start as a 2 or 3 star writer, don’t worry, you can increase your earnings per word written by completing quality articles in their system. Text broker then goes in and rates each article you submit, and give those articles a star rating. People who need articles and content written will post writing projects on this site, and anyone who is qualified to write the article can. When you are a writer for Real Writing Jobs, the articles come on a first come, first serve basis. That means, when an article is posted, any writer can write that article. So sometimes you might have to act quick to grab that article. It’s a great way to get paid per article written.
Real Writing Jobs actually pays pretty well compare to other writing services online. The lowest amount you would get for a 300 word article would be about $4.50. So how many 300 word articles can you write in an hour? Anyone could write 2 articles an hour, but I’m sure you can get up to 5 or 6 an hour with a little practice…that’s up to $25 an hour…not too bad for writing online.
You can make a living doing whatever skills you have, except making an online job out of it. If you can write well and like to do it, then that is by far one of the most sought after freelance jobs on the internet.
