Well, there is one or two companies that I will endorse where you have to pay them to get surveys sent to you, but this is not the time to start doing that -- especially if you are new to taking surveys. I have been getting emails asking me about other ways of “making money online”, and what I end up telling my 11 readers is that freelancing is better than completing surveys -- it pays more, and there is more work. Well, after getting some feedback on what real writing jobs offers, I can say that it can be one of the better writing companies out there. There is one big problem though, new writers have to pay to get into their system to start writing articles for people who need them. There is a trial offer, which is good. You can go out and sign up for the trial and just try out their service and if you think it’s not something for you, you can cancel before they charge you the one-time lifetime membership fee.  What is the membership fee you ask? Well it was $129 to start I believe, but right now it’s $47.  

I know what you’re thinking -- $47!? Why the heck do they charge so much for us to write for them? Well, every business model is different, and they opted to charge a lifetime membership fee instead of using other fee structures. It can be beneficial to try out the service, especially if you like to write.

Is RealWritingJobs.com A Scam?

A scam is what you think it is. There are many people that actually have used the service to its fullest and get back their investment and much much more. I don’t think it’s a scam, but that’s just my opinion. A scam to me would be if they asked for your money and gave you nothing…that would suck, and yes it would be a scam.

With RealWritingJobs.com, they actually provide a service that is in demand…so they charge for it. There’s nothing wrong with that. The reason some people may think that this is a scam is because they don’t put any, or very little, effort into it. If you sign up, and go through everything they tell you and start writing on a consistent basis, then you will be successful with it…period. You can’t just sign up and do nothing and think it’s a scam.

My Suggestion For Writing Jobs Online

What I would do if I were new to the writing game, I would be signing up and writing as much as I possibly could. The best thing about writing (or anything for that matter), is that the more you do it, the better you will get over the long run. So go out and sign up and see what you can do in the LONG RUN, not today…not this week…over a longer period of time. If writing is a passion for you, then why wouldn’t you be writing everyday?

I can pretty much guarantee that you found this page because you are looking for ways to make some extra money typing at home. I’ve been a freelancer for about 4 years now (mostly project management jobs), and I have seen many part-time work from home typing jobs available. There is a lot of demand for article writers, blog writers and the like. So I know you won’t be short of work any time soon, even given this economy. But it is still work, so if you are serious about home typing and writing jobs, then make sure to read this entire article. I’m going to go over all the different ways you can make money typing from home.

First off is a company called Real Writing Jobs. What you do is sign up with them and they will match you with article writing and blog writing jobs. They actually do most of the searching for you, all you have to do is update your skills and profile with them and they will do the rest. They match you with the right writing jobs 24/7…all you have to do is start writing.

Another great way to get paid to write online is through Text Broker. You can sign up by clicking here. In my earlier days of freelancing and while in college, I used text broker to make extra cash. You don’t even need writing experience to write for them! All you do is sign up for free, take a short writing test, then they give you a level based on that writing (2 thru 5). If you don’t have any experience writing, then you will probably start out as a 2, where you are paid the least amount of money per word, but you can increase your level by writing better quality articles.

Every article you complete and submit with Text Broker gets reviewed by their staff and they give it a grade (2 -- 5). They take the average of the last 5 articles to get your writing level. So if you happen to move up to a 3 or 4 level writer, you will significantly increase your earnings while writing for them.

This is not a freelance website. People who need blog posts, or other content for the web go on and post a project. You, as the writer, can go in there and write any article you are qualified to write. Once that article is accepted by the poster, you will get the money in your account, which you can then withdraw at any time -- I think they pay out 2 times a month. Again it’s free to sign up and it’s a great typing job from home.

The last website I’m going to talk about is Hub Pages which you can sign up for by clicking here. This site provides better payouts per word for writers than other writing services, but you have to be an experienced writer to get accepted and start writing for them. They do the same thing as Text Broker, where they give you a star rating from 2 to 5. Obviously, the higher the number the more you will get paid for each article that is accepted.

Writer Access is a great company to write for since they do give out the best payouts in the industry. It’s still free to sign up with them also, so feel free to at least put in an application to be a writer.

There are many other work from home typing jobs available on the internet, but I just named 3 of the best services to go through. The other services are more of freelance type websites where you actually have to bid on projects, create and manage a profile, and create a portfolio. The 3 typing jobs listed above is where you can just sign up and start making money right now.

Free Websites To Make Money Writing Online

Hub Pages

You may or may not have heard of hub pages before, so I’ll give you a short description of what they do. Hub pages is pretty much an article directory, but of better quality. Anyone can sign up and start writing. But you won’t get paid per word you write, you get paid from the advertisements on the articles you create for hub pages.

See, hub pages is a platform where you can create your own web pages on the internet. So instead of writing for a article service, you are writing for the web. Once you publish your first article, it will appear on the web and you may even find it in the search engines after a few days.

In my opinion, hub pages is the best place to write online -- why? -- because you do the work once, and you get paid over and over for that writing. For example, let’s say you know a little about gardening, and you want to share your knowledge with the world. You can go to hub pages, create a page called “How To Keep Your Garden Looking Great Year Round”. People who are searching for gardening tips like this may find your article in the search engines or just searching hub pages. If someone clicks on a ad in that article, you will get paid -- you will be paid a portion of the advertising cost to that advertiser.

It’s as simple as that to make money with hub pages. It’s also good to know a little about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), but it’s not a requirement. If you know how to choose the right topics to write about, then you can essentially make more money in the long run since you would be able to get more traffic to the pages (ie. articles) you write on hub pages. I know people who make more than $1,000 per month strictly with hub pages…no joke. They create hundreds of pages that are optimized for a keyword or two and get a lot of traffic to those pages -- that traffic leads to clicks on ads -- which leads to money in their account.

I would go into detail about how to make money with hub pages, but that would be about 10,000 words long, so I will just leave it as this for now. Maybe I will write a long post about making money with hub pages another day.

Squidoo

This is a website similar to Hub pages…actually, very similar to hub pages.  You can write articles on any subject matter that they allow you to, and post it on the web for the world to see. Then, as you gain more and more articles and more traffic, that traffic will convert to money with the ad they display on the site. You can add any type of money making method you want with Squidoo. You can put amazon ads and product links, and other forms of pay-per-click ads like Adsense and make money from clicks.  It’s the best way to earn long term income because you write once, and get paid for that article over and over again.

Text Broker

Text broker allows anyone of any writing level to sign up and write articles for people who are looking to buy articles. Once you sign up, you will have to submit a sample article for them to review. After a day or two, they will give you a star rating based on that sample. If you are a professional writer, you will most likely end up with a 4 or 5 star rating -- meaning you will be able to write articles for more money per word than a 2 or 3 star writer.

Even if you start as a 2 or 3 star writer, don’t worry, you can increase your earnings per word written by completing quality articles in their system. Text broker then goes in and rates each article you submit, and give those articles a star rating. So if you consistently write quality articles, you will eventually move up to a 4 or even a 5 start writer.

Real Writing Jobs

This website is a an actual article writing service, unlike hub pages, that pays you per article that you write.  People who need articles and content written will post writing projects on this site, and anyone who is qualified to write the article can. When you are a writer for Real Writing Jobs, the articles come on a first come, first serve basis. That means, when an article is posted, any writer can write that article. So sometimes you might have to act quick to grab that article. It’s a great way to get paid per article written.

Real Writing Jobs actually pays pretty well compare to other writing services online. The lowest amount you would get for a 300 word article would be about $4.50. So how many 300 word articles can you write in an hour? Anyone could write 2 articles an hour, but I’m sure you can get up to 5 or 6 an hour with a little practice…that’s up to $25 an hour…not too bad for writing online.

When you are looking to work from home via the internet (or online jobs with no fees or investment), it can be a very complicated process.  The reason for that is because there is so much crap out there.  You can find thousands of “make money online” SYSTEMS (emphasis on systems) that every internet marketer is trying to sell you.  I don’t want that to happen when you come to LegitimateOnlineSurveyJobs.com.

It’s not only writing though, if you are a good photographer, web designer, programmer, even book keeping! Yes, pretty much any job that you have right now can be done on the internet from your home.  Yeah, there is a catch -- you actually have to get motivated and do something on your own without anyone else telling you what to do on a daily basis. That’s hard for some people. But it can work if you work at it. It may not be an immediate success, but you can build your client list over time until you can say goodbye to your boss forever.

Internet/Affiliate Marketing

If you don’t want to be a freelancer, affiliate marketing is one of the best online jobs with no fees. Affiliates are people or companies who sell products or get leads for other companies (aka salesmen). Online, there are a lot of affiliates promoting millions of products.  When an affiliate gets a lead or a sale for the company or product they are promoting -- they get a commission. It’s pretty simple, but not as simple to implement. You have to know where to start so you don’t end up buying numerous ebooks on “how to make milllions of dollars in 2 hours” -- don’t do that.

Like freelancing, it will take time for you to make money as an affiliate marketer.  You have to learn the basics is all -- And I know of 1 program that is 100% legitimate and IT WORKS…I am a paying member…its called The Keyword Academy.  They teach you how to make money on the internet via affiliate programs. All the links and survey companies above are what I use to make $500 -- $800 per month taking surveys online.  So when people ask me how I get so many offers for surveys, I tell them that I am signed up with over 20 survey companies.  1 survey company will not send you nearly as many surveys as you need to make a difference in your income.  So the above list is my comprehensive list to date of how I make money taking surveys.

The best advice I have ever given to anybody looking to make money taking surveys was to sign up with all the legitimate online survey companies you can find.  There are so many scamming type survey sites out there which is why you need to be careful when signing up with a random company.  All the survey companies that I recommend do not spam your email, and are legitimate.  They will pay you cash for completing online surveys.

There are a few companies listed above that you have to pay for a membership.  I have paid for over 10 memberships and I weeded out the scam sites and only gave you my list of real survey companies.  So if you have to pay for a membership to one of the sites above, don’t worry, you will make that money back within a month -- I can assure you of that.

Tips To Make Money Taking Surveys

The first thing you should do before signing up for all the survey companies listed above is to create a separate email account that you will use only for taking surveys.  There are numerous free email services out there -- my favorite is gmail -- it’s very simple to use and takes 2 minutes to sign up.  Once you have a free email address, you can then start joining the survey companies listed above using the new email address you created.

Another tip I can give you in order to make money taking surveys is to make sure you give each company/website you sign up for, your full information. The more information the company has about you, the better chance of you being sent surveys often.  Plus, the more surveys you fill out, the more surveys you will be sent.  These companies keep track of how many surveys you actually try to complete.  If you just ignore the emails you get for survey offers, they might stop sending you surveys.  Which is why you need to try and complete every single survey offer you receive.

Browsing the internet lately, you’ll typically end up with lots of banners and advertisements telling you that you can earn five or six hundred dollars a day. They’ll tell you that you can do this in the comfort of your own home, filling out online surveys. Nine times out of ten, you’re being mislead. For the most part, paying online surveys will net you the equivalent of ten or eleven dollars per hour. If you’re content with $24-$25,000 a year, working full time, nine or ten hours a day, then yes, you can earn a living by taking online surveys. If you have dreams of retiring by forty, simply by filling out online surveys, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. Simply put, there is no way you will ever get rich by filling out online surveys.

If you like the idea of being able to earn four or five hundred dollars a month, by spending a few hours a day, seven days a week, filling out online surveys and participating in focus groups, then it certainly is possible to supplement an income. Most people find that with enough dedication and free time, four hundred dollars a month in their pocket is easy enough. If you’re willing to work full time, money will be much better, of course, but nowhere near as good as a job in the real world. Filling out online surveys can be interesting at first, however it can get quite tedious in no time at all. The trick to keeping things interesting is to try to avoid taking surveys which are similar to each other over and over. This is easier said than done, as most of the highest paying surveys are usually limited, on a first come first serve basis.

Paying surveys can typically last between ten minutes and a few hours, and often require quite a lot of thought and concentration in order to complete properly. It’s best to fill them out when you’re not going to encounter any distractions. The key to getting regular survey offers is to always give well thought out, high quality answers. Simply put, your opinion is valuable, not only

to you, but to the companies who compose the surveys. Because you’re a consumer, most of the surveys you will be taking will be from large companies, who want feedback about an idea they have, or a product/service that they offer. In some (relatively rare) instances, you’ll have the opportunity to try new products or services, typically for a preset time period. When the time period is up, you’ll be expected to fill out a detailed survey, most of which is asking for your opinions about the tested product/service. Generally, product tryouts are hard to get into, as they get snatched up quickly. In some cases, you’ll be expected to return the product. Other times, you’ll be allowed to keep the product as a thank you for your participation.

Because your opinion is so valuable to companies whose primary goal is increasing profits, they’re willing to pay you. It’s much easier, not to mention cheaper, to pay you to take a survey in your home, than it is to bring people to their physical offices to participate in group surveys or focus groups. You’re obviously not going to be paid as well as the person who shows up at their headquarters, but there’s still some money to be made. Ideally, in order to make it worth the effort, you’ll want to spend quite a bit of time trying to snatch up the best paying surveys.

How Much Do Surveys Typically Pay?

Typically, a survey will pay between five to fifty dollars. Obviously, a very well paying survey is going to be long, and is going to take a significant amount of time to fill out. Spending two or three hours on a high paying survey is not uncommon.

If you can find the time to work on your computer for an hour or two a day, you’ll find it’s more than possible to earn a nice supplemental income. You won’t get rich, so don’t expect the world. You will however have some extra cash in your pocket by the end of the day, which is more than most people can hope for.

If you take online surveys for money on a regular basis, and are signed up with enough survey companies (It’s extremely important to be signed up with many companies) -- you can make a realistic $200 -- $800 per month.

There are many different sites on the web that will send you products to test at home. This is a great way to earn some extra money.  Here are some different reasons why you should do product testing at your house.  There are several different reasons why you should test products at home. The first reason is you do not have to worry about going anywhere in order to make some extra money. You do not have to worry about the added price of gas since all the products get sent right to your door.

1. They offer you things like credit cards, game and DVD rental sign ups, surveys, and a bunch of other things.
2. They will pay you X amount of money to perform an action.
3. Once you do that through their links, they will pay you.
4. The advertiser pays Cash Crate a certain amount of money for the referral lead or sale.

So it’s a pretty simple formula and a win-win for you and cash crate.

I have been using cash crate for about a year and all I have to say is that is it a legitimate way to make money online via surveys and shopping with cash back offers from cash crate.  My cash crate review is quite simple: IT WORKS.  It will not make you rich, and it is not intended to be a sustaining income.  If you keep shopping, completing offers and surveys -- you will make money with cash crate….period.
